Hambleton CAB and Richmondshire CAB merged in 2012, joining up with Selby District CAB in April 2016 to become Citizens Advice Hambleton, Richmondshire and Selby & District. In October 2017 the organisation merged with Citizens Advice Ryedale to become Citizens Advice Mid-North Yorkshire. Merging has added strength and future sustainability to the charity and will ensure a comprehensive advice and support service can continue to be provided to our clients across four North Yorkshire districts.
Our services are based in four main offices – Malton, Northallerton, Richmond and Selby. Please go to the Get advice and contact page for contact details and opening times.
We also deliver advice from rural outreach centres across the four districts which are open to everyone.
Home visits are available to those who need them.
Over 70% of our staff are volunteers. We offer a variety of roles to deliver our advice service and our research and campaigning work. See the Volunteering page for more information.
Citizens Advice Mid-North Yorkshire is a registered charity and is reliant on donations and grant funding in order to continue providing this vital service to local communities. We are staffed mainly by trained volunteers.
