Citizens Advice Mid-North Yorkshire is a registered charity which provides free, independent, confidential, and impartial advice to help people resolve their problems. The service is open to everybody regardless of race, sex, disability, sexuality, or nationality. All local Citizens Advice operate as separate entities but are members of Citizens Advice, the national charity.
Citizens Advice provides support, information, and training which allows local Citizens Advice to provide an advice service directly to the public through a range of community settings, e.g. the high street, libraries, and GP surgeries, and increasingly by telephone, by email, by web chat, online, and through media (including social media platforms). Citizens Advice Mid-North Yorkshire also works in partnership with various other local, regional, and national organisations to deliver its service.
